Alice Christianson, MA, LPCC
An LGBT-allied counselor who considers herself as a ‘generalist,’ working with adult individuals and couples with problems of depression, anxiety, coping with life’s stresses, and also parents who are struggling to accept their LGBT children. Alice specializes in sexual dysfunction and transgender/transexual issues. She is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, certified as a sex therapist by the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselor and Therapists, and a member of the World Professional Associaiton of Transgender Health.

Minnkota Center
Minnkota Center is a non-profit, community-based organization providing safe and affordable counseling services for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and questioning individuals.
Services include youth groups, leadership opportunities, support groups for women and men, relationship counseling and individual counseling.
The Women’s Discussion Group is a place where bisexual, lesbian and queer women can meet to gain support and provide support to one another. If you’re interested in joining the group, please contact Kama at Minnkota. A brief intake must be completed before attending group.
The Men’s Discussion Group meets every other Monday at 5:30 p.m. and is a place where gay, bisexual, queer and questioning men can meet to gain support and provide support to one another. Family Therapy Center
The Family Therapy Center (FTC) is located on the campus of North Dakota State University (NDSU). Therapists at the FTC are advanced clinical interns from the NDSU Couple and Family Therapy (CFT) Program. The CFT program is an accredited training program located within the Department of Child Development and Family Science. Therapist interns are supervised by NDSU faculty who are clinical members and approved supervisors of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. The confidentiality of each client is carefully maintained.
The FTC provides individual, couple, and/or family therapy. They are an LGBT affirmative organization. Specific issues that may be addressed discrimination related to homophobia & heterosexism, coming out, family issues related to coming out, difficulty with depression, grief, or loss, raising children in a LGBT identified family, spiritual & religious issues. Kama Bree Jensen, M.Ed., LPC
Providing individual and relationship counseling for adults. A generalist counselor who addresses a range of issues including: relationship work, anxiety/depression, life transition, health crisis, identity, and healthy coping skills. A licensed practicing counselor in North Dakota and Minnesota, and a speaker and consultant on issues related to working with GLBT clientele.
