“Our church has a unique mission: to reach out to the GLBT community in Fargo-Moorhead and surrounding rural areas. We are a ministry by and primarily for this community. We offer an environment within which most people are comfortable being themselves. It is also an environment that challenges people to become the person God wants them to be.”

Unitarian Universalist Church of Fargo-Moorhead
Address: 121 9th St. S., Fargo
Telephone: 701.235.0394
“We are a Unitarian Universalist welcoming congregation that seeks to be a spiritual home for people of free faith regardless of race, color, gender, affectional or sexual orientation, age, national origin, socio-economic status, physical or mental ability.”
“The Unitarian Universalist approach to spirituality is basically different from that of religions based on a creed or received revelation. In our search for religious truth, we weigh the religious voices and visions of every place and time on a balance with our own vision and voice. We search the gathered wisdom of humankind – the reason and intuition, the arts and science – and we search our own experience. We enter the combined religious traditions of the Unitarians and the Universalists, offering the life-truths of gay and lesbian and bisexual people.” — from a 1994 pamphlet of the Unitarian Universalist Association of Congregations
Weekly meetings: Sundays at 11:00 a.m.
