FM Pride 2010 is scheduled for August 12-15, 2010. A variety of activities will be held in the Fargo-Moorhead area and we want you to get involved! Here’s how:
- Show your organization or company’s support to the LGBT community. Become a FM Pride
sponsor! Several levers of sponsorship are available. - Showcase your organization or business and promote and sell your products or services to FM Pride attendees during FM Pride in the Park. Sign up as a vendor today!
- Show your commitment to the LGBT community and really get into FM Pride! Register to
participate in the FM Pride Parade! - Help build support around a good cause. Donate to FM Pride and the Pride Collective to support LGBT individuals in the Fargo-Moorhead community.
Calling All Potential Gender-Benders!
Take the stage at this summer’s Amateur Drag Show. Contestants will
perform at the August 13th Roller Derby
sponsored by F-M Pride. Songs should last no longer than 3 minutes and
should be family friendly. An award will be presented for the best
performance.
If you are interested in performing, please email both Jamie Bergman
(bergmjam at mnstate.edu) and Shannon Bacon (sibacon at hotmail.com) before
August 3 (the sooner the better!). Include the following information in
your email:
* Your name, phone number, and email address
* Your song title (if this changes later, just let us know)
* The length of the song you will be performing
After we have received this information, you can expect to hear back from
us with detailed information about the Amateur Drag Show.

- Bowling at All Star Bowling in Moorhead —all ages
- 6:00pm-11:00pm; Cost: $8 for adults, $6 for students and children

Friday, August 13th:
- FM Derby Girls Interleague Bout—all ages
- 7:00pm doors, 8:00pm bout; Cost: $12 for adults, $7 for children ages 6-12, Free to children 5 and under
- Fargo Civic Center (207 4th St -Fargo)
- Tickets can be purchased at the Civic Center or through TicketMaster
- FM Derby Girls Bout Post Party at Big Joe’s in the Howard Johnson (301 3rd Ave N-Fargo) – all ages
- Following the Derby; Cost: $2 suggested donation
Saturday, August 14th:
- FM Pride in the Park at Davy Park (210 8th St N) in Moorhead—all ages
- 12:00pm-5:00pm; Cost: Free
- FM Pride Silent Auction at FM Pride in the Park – all ages
- FM Pride Block Party at Usher’s House (700 1st Ave N-Moorhead) — all ages
- Featuring DJ Joyride, JustNtyme’s Fierce Drag Show and DJ Shiek from Minneapolis
- 6:00pm-12:00am; Cost: $10
Sunday, August 15th:
- Church service at Island Park Gazebo (302 7th St N-Fargo)—all ages (In case of rain or inclement weather, the service will be held at the Fargo-Moorhead Unitarian Universalist Church-121 9th St S, Fargo)
- 12:30-1:30; Cost: Free
- FM Pride Parade in downtown Fargo—all ages
- 2:00pm; Cost: Free
- Pride Rally at the Fargo Civic Center—all ages
- Following the Parade; Free
- Afternoon festivities at Big Joe’s and Sidestreet Grille & Pub (301 3rd Ave N-Fargo) – all ages
- 3:00pm-??; Cost: $2 suggested donation
- Karoake in Sidestreet
- Wii in Big Joe’s
Community Events and Fundraisers
Saturday, August 7th:
- Inaugural FROLF Invitational Tournament
- Top three winners receive cash prizes courtesy of Scheels All Sports. F-M Derby Girls will serve as Tourney officials
- Oak Grove Park (170 Maple St N-Fargo)
- 12:00pm-3:00pm; Cost: $10, proceeds benefit the Pride Collective & Community Center

- Gay Men’s Book Group
- Discuss a collection of short stories, “Close Range: Wyoming Stories,” by Annie Proulx. Potluck dinner to follow.
