Minnkota Center

Minnkota Center is a nonprofit, community-based organization providing safe and affordable counseling services for Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender and Questioning individuals.

Being GLBT in and of itself does not warrant counseling.  Sometimes societal stigma around sexual orientation and gender identity may result in a need for counseling and support..

We provide safe, confidential and affordable counseling services for GLBTQ youth and adults.  The cost of counseling services is based on a sliding-fee scale and no one will be turned away.

Services

The Women’s Discussion Group is a place where bisexual, lesbian and queer women can meet to gain and provide support. If you’re interested in joining the group, please contact Kama at Minnkota. A brief intake must be completed before attending group.  

The Men's Discussion Group is open to men who identify as gay, bisexual, queer, or men who have sex with men.  The group meets every 1st & 3rd Wednesday of the month at 5:30 p.m.  Meeting times occasionally change to accommodate holiday weekends.  If you would like to join the group, please contact Minnkota.  A brief intake must be completed before attending the group.
